About Us
The California Grape Rootstock Research Foundation (CGRRF) was formed in 2000 by the grape rootstock industry. Recognizing the cyclical economics of the industry, rootstock growers established the Foundation to work in cooperation with the California Grape Rootstock Improvement Commission. The mission of the Foundation is that of the Commission—to fund and support grape rootstock research for the benefit of the California viticulture and grape nursery industry.
The Foundation has supported the work of dedicated research scientists focused on the improvement of grape rootstocks, grapevine health and productivity. It is the goal of the Foundation to develop a self-sustaining funding mechanism for current and future grape rootstock related research.
Your willingness to support the funding efforts of the CGRRF by contributing directly to the Foundation will ensure that the cutting edge research outlined on this website continues. You may send donations to the Foundation here. If you have any questions about the Foundation please contact Debra Murdock.
